Time Worth Seeing was founded in January of 2007 by Dr. James D. Wylot, and its current location was established in May of 2008. The foundation of the company was created with only one goal in mind: to give our patients the quality eye care that they deserve. Dr. Wylot stresses the importance of dedicating his time to his patients, which is reflected in the name of his practice, as well as how much time is allotted for appointments. No patient will ever feel they are being rushed through an exam.
Dr. Wylot is a native of Rochester, NY. He grew up in Greece, NY and graduated from Greece Arcadia High School in 1996. He completed his undergraduate studies at St. Bonaventure University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2004.
After graduation he decided to move back home to Rochester due to his close ties to family and friends, as well as his love of the city. He is very proud to be able to help the members of the community and surrounding areas he grew up in.
Dr. Wylot is an active member of the American Optometric Society, New York State Optometric Society, and Rochester Optometric Society.
